Durante unos años viví en una casa en medio del monte serrano. Durante esos años coordiné residencias para artistas, trabajé la tierra y llevé una vida apartada del ritmo urbano, de la productividad y del rendimiento.
En ese entorno salvaje, rodeada de árboles, pájaros y distancia, comencé a escribir apuntes sueltos que fueron tomando forma de diario y que ahora he convertido en un manifiesto que reivindica otras formas de relacionarnos, de ser y de estar en el mundo.
Reflexiones sobre el tiempo, la creación, el cuerpo y la soledad surgieron desde la experiencia atenta al paisaje y a lo que me atravesaba. Entre apuntes y observaciones, la ficción aparece; al fin y al cabo, toda obra necesita mentir para decir la verdad. Las fotografías que integran este libro dialogan con el texto desde el mismo lugar: la observación íntima, lo cotidiano, lo esencial.

For several years, I lived in a house deep in the mountain range. During that time, I hosted artist residencies, worked the land, and led a life far removed from the urban pace, productivity, and performance.
In that wild environment, surrounded by trees, birds, and distance, I began writing loose notes that gradually took the shape of a diary—now transformed into a manifesto that calls for other ways of relating, of being, and of inhabiting the world.
Reflections on time, creation, the body, and solitude emerged from an attentive experience of the landscape and what passed through me. Between notes and observations, fiction appears; after all, every work needs to lie to tell the truth. The photographs in this book converse with the text from the same place: intimate observation, the everyday, the essential.
